Storytelling with Chris Riedel “The Stories They Brought With Them”
Through research on the cultural and social history of Livingston County, I have identified the countries from which the founding settlers arrived. I will be performing traditional folktales from these countries and cultures on May 18th from 2-3:30 at Little Lakes Community Center, 4705 S. Main St., Hemlock, The folktales under consideration for performance include: The Three Wishes (France), The Blue Men of the Minch (Scotland), Finn McCool and the Giant’s Causeway (Ireland), Rush Cape (England), Anansi Brings Stories to the World (Ghana), The Brave Little Tailor (Germany) Join us for this cultural storytelling event.
